Brandy Schillace


Author, historian, and adventurer at the intersections, Brandy Schillace spends her time in the mist-shrouded alleyways between literature and medicine.  Dr. Schillace is managing editor of Culture, Medicine, and Psychiatry and Research Associate for the Dittrick Museum of Medical History. She writes for Inside Higher Ed, Huffington Post, and the Centre for Medical Humanities. She is also author of the Fiction Reboot | Daily Dose blog, created to support and promote other fiction writers and poets. She has two books with Cooperative Trade, HIGH STAKES and VILLAGERS, with a third on the way. She also writes non-fiction; DEATH’S SUMMER COAT will be out in 2015 with Elliott and Thompson.

Larissa Brown


Larissa Brown is the author of two previous books, Knitalong and My Grandmother’s Knitting. Her first novel, Beautiful Wreck, was published in February 2014. Beautiful Wreck is a time travel love story set in a bleak future and in 10th century Viking Iceland. She’s already hard at work on a companion book set in the same world. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband Martin and son Sebastian, adorable loser-of-hand-made-hats.

Arabella Proffer


Arabella is an artist and illustrator. Her loose narrative themes revolve around a fascination with punk rock, aristocrats, Renaissance fashions, aging socialites, pre-code cinema, gothic divas, medical history, and rock ‘n’ roll groupies. She attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA before receiving her BFA from California Institute of the Arts, and has participated in solo and group exhibitions throughout North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia. Ben Vendetta


Ben Vendetta has been writing about rock and roll his entire adult life for magazines including The Big Takeover and Skyscraper. He published Vendetta Magazine from 1995 to 2002 before co-founding an independent record label, Elephant Stone Records. Wivenhoe Park is his first work of fiction. Brad Warner


Brad Warner is an ordained Zen teacher and author of the books Sex Sin and Zen (2010), Zen Wrapped in Karma Dipped in Chocolate (2009), Sit Down and Shut Up (2007) and Hardcore Zen (2004). He maintains his own blog at He’s also the bass player for the hardcore punk rock group 0DFx (aka Zero Defex), director of the film “Cleveland’s Screaming!” and former vice president of the US branch of the company founded by the man who created Godzilla.
